Jeff's Tree Service and Land Clearing, LLC is equipped to clear large parcels of land for commercial development and building. We also provide residential services for homeowners who want to increase the size of their backyard, install a pool, or remove trees for a new home addition.

While we specialize in land clearing year-round, we always suggest (and welcome) the opportunity to handle this task in the cold winter months. The reasons for this are numerous and pretty easy to understand. Winter clearing generally means lower costs and a quicker completion of the project when compared to the warmer growth seasons.

 

ADVANTAGES TO WINTER LAND CLEARING

1) FROZEN SUPPORT

Most land clearing projects (even on smaller lots) will usually require that some heavy equipment be on your property. A frozen – or at least dryer – condition of the ground during the colder months lends to easier maneuvering of trucks and machines required to remove trees, rocks, bushes and other obstacles. The season's dryer ground also helps in preventing disturbance of the landscape soil by the machinery and trucks.

 

2) CLEARER LANDSCAPE

During the winter/colder months most trees, plants and vegetation are dormant. It is obviously a clearer landscape to work with. This means less removal (and costs) when compared to accomplishing the work when everything is in full bloom. The work simply goes much faster than when contending with a more active foliage and vegetation landscape.

 

2) YOUR SPRING PREPARATION

Planning ahead is simply a good idea. Typically, Spring is the time when building, landscaping and land development occurs. Clearing land during the winter months gives you the advantage of starting the the season prepped and ready-to-go.
